FAQs

1. Q: Can I have a list of brokers that support MetaTrader4?

A: Please find the information in autopilot.pdf guide page 11.

2. Q: What do the indicators in ForexAutopilot EA mean? Do I need to change anything to make the EA work perfectly?

A: The system is quite complex to explain. It uses the main indicator CCI (Commodity Channel Index) to determine when to stop loss or take profit. If you check the properties of the EA (using MetaTrader), you can see the properties such as Take Profit set to 255, Stop Loss set to 0, it does not mean the system doesn't have a clear stop loss or take profit strategy. Everything has been set properly so that the system can automatically trade for you. However if you are an expert in MetaTrader and you are so confident about your money management strategies, you can change some settings (stop loss, take profit) to suit with your trading styles.

3. Q: How many trades per day should I see after installation of the EA?

A: For the optimal setting of timeframe D1 (daily), you would be able to see 5-10 trades/a month. Don't be disappointed by the number, as long as the 5-10 trades are profitable, you are on the way of making money automatically.
The software needs to wait for signals to be triggered to open trades. So maybe sometimes you can not see in any trades happening in 2-3 days. Don't be frustrated. Just leave it there.

4: Q: After installation for a week, I could not see any trades happening. What is going wrong?

A: There might be 2 reasons for that:

1.Your EA has not been set to work properly. Please follow the below steps to make sure you have set MetaTrader4 to enable EA:

a. Set MetaTrader to enable EA (page 25 in autopilot.pdf guide)

b. Set EA to enable live trading (page 28 in autopilot.pdf guide)

(Please remember that even if you can see a smiley face, it still doesn't mean the EA is working properly, please always ensure step a. has been done).

If after checking these two steps, the EA still can not work. In the worst case, you might need to open a new demo account and follow the steps as in the guide again. If you still can not see trades, please change your timeframe to smaller time frame (hour, minute etc...) (just to check whether the system is working, after that PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO D1 FOR THE BEST RESULT)

2. Your current broker conditions might be incompatible with current expert advisor (most frequent problem). Maybe your broker takes your orders too slowly, gives bad quotes or too high spread or slipperage. We recommend you to try demo account with another broker.

You can find how to set timeframe in page 29 of the guide.

Take note that if you see the grey icon of ForexAutopilot EA, it does not mean that the EA has not been activated, it only means that the system doesn't come along with the source code.

5. Q: What is the best pair to trade? What time frame? How to set? Can I trade other pairs?

A: The best pair to trade is GBP/USD timeframe D1. You can follow instructions in page 29 of the guide to set.

You can trade other pairs and timeframe. But as we said, the best performance result will be on the pair GBP/USD.

6. Q: Does the system include compounding?

A: The system does not include compounding. The lot size is fixed.

7. Q: Does the system work fully automatically?

A: Yes, the system makes orders on its own. You don't need to take action. However in the guide, we instruct you how to open orders manually, it is only because of the following reasons:

a. Your computer might hang, you want to close the trades to secure your profits before any risky thing can happen.

b. You see a very good trade with a very good profit and you don't want to wait any more to take profit, so you can just manually close the order.
